Penalties

Home invasion robbery can carry severe penalties and depending on the circumstances can carry increased or enhanced penalties. Generally, the penalties for home invasion robbery are as follows:

1. Home Invasion Robbery, felony of the first degree, if carried firearm or other deadly weapon, punishable by imprisonment for a term of years not exceeding life imprisonment as provided in F.S. s. 775.082, s. 775.083, or s. 775.084;
2. Home Invasion Robbery, felony of the first degree, if carried a weapon, is a, punishable as provided in F.S. s. 775.082, s. 775.083, or s. 775.084;
3. Home Invasion Robbery, felony of the first degree, if without firearm, deadly weapon or other weapon, punishable as provided in F.S. s. 775.082, s. 775.083, or s. 775.084.
